Mitchell's best friend Angela 15, who was fifteen years old when she died in a death in an accident with a vehicle and a car, also wrote about her incident. Mitchell wrote Angela, the first song on her album for Angela. The book Chicken Soup For the Preteen Soul, and 7th Heaven's episode "Nothing Endures But Change" also contain her story of the incident.
